We strongly condemn the attack on Baloch and Pashtun students by religious extremist group Islami Jamaith Tulba

Baloch Republican Student Organization Central spokesman strongly condemned the attack on Baloch and Pashtun students by religious extremist group Islami Jamaith Tulba(IJT) in Punjab University.

BRSO central spokesman stated that Baloch students move to other cities  for seeking knowledge, due to lack of institutions, quality education  and worst of all the  majority of educational institutions have converted into military camps in Balochistan, but  they are targeted by state sponsored religious extremist students organizations in Punjab which makes it  clear that state departments are even frustrated with Baloch students. That’s why the doors of education are being completely shut for Baloch students so that they would  be deprived of knowledge and learning.

The spokesman remarked that this was not the first incident, Baloch and Pashtun students were severely tortured many times in different parts of of Punjab educational institutions. An educated Baloch is unacceptable to Pakistan, therefore, from the day first, Pakistani institutions are trying one way or other way to keep  Balochs away from education.

The spokesman stated that Pakistan’s intelligence agencies crossed the all limits of barbarities when  on 31 January 2012 at Karachi , they brutally assassinated the sister and niece of Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti, the President of Baloch Republican Party. Pakistan wants to suppress Baloch people  from all walk of life. The martyrdom of Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti sister and niece by state was a tactic to derail BRP from national struggle, but they were mistaken because today Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti is more vibrant and active in highlighting Baloch issue before the world.

BRSO central spokesman announced to support the strike call of BRP on 31 January and appealed to business class, transporters and people of Balochistan to support  strike call and express their views against State terrorism.
