Baloch Republican Students Organization and Baloch Republican Party hold protest demonstration on International day of human rights in Busan, South Korea. The purpose of this protest was to highlight the atrocities committed by Pakistan Army and other security forces; they also protested against the Switzerland government decision on rejecting Brahumdag Bugti asylum application and review its decision on imposing a lifetime entry ban to Mehran Marri.
The protesters distributed pamphlets regarding human rights violation in Balochistan and chanted slogan against the Pakistani atrocities. BRSO and BRP leaders stated that their main purpose of the demonstration was to highlight Pakistani forces atrocities on Baloch people, and appeal to the Swiss government to accept Brahumdag Bugti asylum applications and left lifetime entry ban on Mehran Marri, the Baloch representative at UNO.
They said, Swiss government is acting in persuasion of a such country (Pakistan), whereof, its own track record of gross human rights violation is at the top of countries list; that is carrying out operations on a daily basis and abducting and killing innocent citizens in Balochistan without any check.
Both party leaders stated that Pakistani security forces are trying to counter Baloch struggle with the use of force. But in contrast, today’s reality is that the Baloch national struggle has received accreditation in international community due to the great sacrifice of Baloch martyred. And they vowed to follow the footsteps of their leaders who laid their lives for the greater cause of free Balochistan.
The protesters also warned that without the virtual participation of Baloch, no scheme will reach into completion. And the leaders of BRSO and BRP expressed their disappointment that human rights violation in Balochistan by Pakistani forces have increased due to the silence of human rights organizations and international bodies.
